Are you looking for something to celebrate and sustain you this winter?
January and February can be a difficult time for many of us; the midwinter festivities are over and yet spring can still feel a long way off. Imbolc, at the start of February, helps us to remember that the days are steadily getting longer, and it marks the end of the darkest quarter of the year.
We invite you to come along to Fréamh's Imbolc Sauna ceremony to come together in community, warm your bones, and celebrate the returning of the light.
This event will involve ritual, cacao, sauna bathing, story telling and song. It is an opportunity to connect with your body, mark the cycle of the natural world, and reflect on the seeds of intention you want to grow over this coming year.
This event is not therapy, but is a therapeutic space and may therefore bring up strong emotions or memories. We work with traditional stories from around the world that can include triggering content. The Fréamh practitioners are from a range of backgrounds including dramatherapy, yoga teaching, community theatre and storytelling, and will be there to hold you through the session.
