At Community Sauna Baths, we believe that access to warmth, rest, and meaningful connection shouldn’t depend on your financial situation. Saunas have long been places of healing, reflection, and community - and we want to ensure that everyone, regardless of income or circumstance, can be part of that experience. That’s why we offer concessionary pricing starting from just £5 for those who need it most, including individuals with low incomes, students, NHS workers, and others facing various barriers. It’s one of the ways we’re working to make our spaces more open, welcoming, and equitable for all.

General Concessions Membership

UK university students and/or those on universal credit, tax credits, job seekers allowance or housing benefit and those over 65.

  • Valid for 6 months

    Benefits:

    • £5 Off Peak Sauna

    Required:

    • Universal Credit dated within the past 3 months with your name visible

    • Valid UK university student ID with date visible

    • Proof of date of birth

    Applicable at Camberwell, Hackney Wick, Stratford and Walthamstow.

    - For UK University Students, please send a copy of the student ID in date.
    - For Universal Credit, Universal Credit Statement dated within the last three months with your name clearly visible.
    - For Job Seekers, Job Seekers Statement dated within the last three months with your name clearly visible.
    - For Tax Credit, Tax Credit Document dated within the last three months with your name clearly visible.
    - For Housing Benefit, Housing Benefit Statement dated within the last three months with your name clearly visible. - For those over 65, please provide proof of age.

  • Please be aware that members can only use their concession package once per session, but are able to book multiple concession sessions across the day.

    This is because the concession applies to you, and you only. (e.g. you can use membership for the 10am session once, then for the 11am session once)

    You will not be able to use your concession for 10am session twice/three times.

Stratford Locals Concessions

Anyone with proof of living in E15 and E20, London, UK.

  • Valid for 6 months

    Benefits at Stratford only:

    • £5 Sauna: Off Peak

    • £10.50: Peak

    Required:

    • proof of address in E15 or E20

Disability Concessions Membership

Anyone living with a disability or those who may need assistance to access the sauna.

  • This membership is designated for people who identify as disabled and those who need assistance to access the sauna. We use the Equality Act guidelines to define this - “a physical or mental impairment that has a ‘substantial’ and ‘long term’ negative effect on your ability to do normal daily living activities”.

    Valid for 1 year

    Applicable at all our sites.

    Required:

    • Evidence of your disability (see ‘How To Apply’ tab for documentation)

    • £10.50 Peak Sauna 🌚

    • 2 free NHS slots per month (just for NHS membership)

    Required:

    • NHS ID for NHS

    • Blue Light card for Blue Light

    For free NHS sessions, a personal NHS ID is needed to show on arrival.

2 for 1 Offer

Couples and pairs of friends who alternate between watching children and sauna bathing.

  • Parents, carers or friends are able to purchase 1 ticket and share the time between childcare and sauna bathing.

  • Mamma Swim

    Wednesdays 11am-1.30pm

    Mamma Swim is a community of mums with 0 - 2s who meet up and take turns looking after each other's babies to allow each other some precious time to sauna and plunge!
