Our mission as a not-for-profit Community Sauna
is to make sauna and cold plunge affordable and accessible to everyone in London. Through our community initiatives, we offer free and discounted sessions to those who need it most.
Our Values
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that sauna is for everyone. That’s why we prioritise affordability, inclusivity, accessibility and local connection.
This isn’t just a philosophy - it shapes our actions. We run free community sessions, give free session to NHS social prescribing referrals, offer great concessions memberships and host events for underrepresented groups. Whether it's a quiet moment of rest, a community gathering or a warm welcome for someone new, our sauna is designed to serve the whole community.
What We Offer
Communal Sauna
& Plunge
We have locations north and south of the river in Camberwell, Hackney Wick, Peckham, Stratford and Walthamstow.
Our spaces vary, but all include saunas, cold plunges, change areas, showers and various garden areas for resting and community.
Events
The ethos behind our events is to expand the potential of the sauna beyond sweat bathing. We combine the physical, mental, social and creative and collaborate with people within the local community to design and host a variety of events - from traditional Aufguss, storytelling, sound baths and yoga, to breathwork and queer poetry.
Social Prescribing
& Outreach
Our Social Prescribing and Community Outreach programmes provide free sauna access for those who need it most. Referred individuals receive 10 free sessions, while our weekly outreach work supports marginalised groups through partnerships with over 15 organisations.
Classes & Practices
Alongside sauna and cold plunge, we’re opening up our Hackney Wick space for a growing programme of practices - from yoga and breathwork to martial arts and more.

Private Hire
Nestled in the yard of the Old Bath House at Hackney Wick, our Lunar Lodge Sauna is the perfect space for a private retreat.
Other private hire spaces will be available soon.
Treatments
We offer treatments and therapies at our Camberwell and Hackney Wick locations. These include Holistic Massage, Pre and Post Pregnancy Massage, Sports and Remedial Massage, Oncology Massage, Myofascial Release for Scar Tissue, Indian Head Massage, Acupressure and more.
