Ease into the new year with a calming fusion of forest bathing and sauna therapy designed to soothe body and mind.
This experience begins with a one-hour guided, silent forest bathing walk through Ruskin Park, where you’ll be invited to slow down, awaken your senses, and notice the subtle colours, scents and textures of the winter landscape. Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) is the Japanese health practice of slow walking in nature, shown to reduce stress and anxiety. Wrapped up warm, you’ll discover how restorative nature can be when we pause long enough to really see and feel it.
After the walk, you’ll head to our welcoming community sauna site in Ruskin Park to unwind, reflect, and allow the warmth to gently restore your energy. Perfect for anyone seeking a mindful reset after the festive rush. This deeply nourishing session offers space to reconnect, recharge, and find comfort in the quiet beauty of winter.
We recommend dressing for the walk with extra layers, including hats and gloves and wearing sturdy shoes. For the sauna experience, you'll need a swimsuit, two towels and footwear suitable for getting wet.
