An evening to celebrate Wales’ national day, Saint David’s Day (Dydd Gwyl Dewi), and the start of meteorological spring through sweat bathing, song, the Welsh language and folklore.
The event will begin in the park with folk music before moving into 90 minutes of sauna, song, and storytelling in the yurt space on site. In the sauna session, bathers are free to move between the three saunas as they wish.
One sauna will be a Welsh-speaking sauna where bathers are encouraged to speak and practise their Welsh. The session will be lightly guided through essential oils, gentle aufguss, and discussion around different aspects of Welsh folklore and what the coming of spring means in Welsh tradition.
This event is open to everyone!
