  • Bermondsey - Innervisions Alchemy Rollins Street London, England, SE15 1EP United Kingdom (map)

This booking is valid for 1 adult and up to 2 kids

Family Sauna Sessions offer a refreshing experience for young minds and their guardians. You’ll find showers and cold plunge, two mobile saunas gently heated for kids, alongside a higher-temperature sauna for adults to enjoy.

Who Can Join

  • Kids: Aged 6–17

  • Adults/Guardians: Must be 18+ and attending with a child

  • No adults without kids, and no kids without guardians - this one’s all about togetherness!

Important Info

  • Guardians must have explicit consent to be responsible for the child in their care.

  • No kids under 6 allowed.

  • All kids must be supervised at all times.

  • A Kid Sauna Waiver must be completed and signed by all guardians upon arrival.

Contraindications for Children Using Saunas

Children should not use a sauna if they:

  • Are under 6 years old (their thermoregulation systems are not fully developed, making them more vulnerable to overheating and dehydration)

  • Have a fever or are unwell  (heat exposure can worsen symptoms and increase the risk of complications)

  • Have cardiovascular conditions (children with congenital heart defects or other heart issues should avoid saunas unless cleared by a doctor)

  • Have epilepsy or seizure disorders (heat can be a trigger for seizures in some children)

  • Are dehydrated or have recently vomited/experienced diarrhoea (saunas increase fluid loss, which can be dangerous if hydration is already compromised)

  • Have skin conditions aggravated by heat (conditions like eczema or psoriasis may worsen with high temperatures)

  • Have respiratory issues like asthma (steam or dry heat may exacerbate breathing difficulties in some children)

Precautions for Children in Saunas

If a child is healthy and over 6 years old, they may use a sauna with strict supervision and the following precautions:

  • Limit sessions to 5–10 minutes (especially for children aged 6–12; teenagers may tolerate up to 15 minutes)

  • Ensure constant adult supervision (never leave a child alone in a sauna)

  • Hydrate before and after (encourage water intake to prevent dehydration)

  • Watch for signs of overheating (such as dizziness, nausea, flushed skin, or lethargy - exit immediately if any occurs)

  • Avoid sauna use after intense physical activity (children need time to cool down and rehydrate first)
